HOW TO WASTE YOUR LIFE


It's so disheartening that many people even the youths who are the so-called leaders of tomorrow are living their lives for the present without putting the future into consideration.
Here are the following ways to show if you are wasting your life:
1. Living without a purpose: This is the worst thing that can ever happen to a man because purpose is like a map that leads us through the journey of life.
2. Waiting for people to motivate you: You can live a wasted life by staying in your mountains of fears, valley of doubts,etc. Most person's know they are fallen but are waiting for others to bring them back on their feet, keep waiting probably when Jesus comes you will be motivated.
3. Complaining about the situation of things and you are always idle & not doing anything.
4. Unhealthy competition with others: We live in a world where luxury living or showing off is the order of the day and almost every one wants to live this kind of life. But the most fascinating part is you see people doing absurd things -your neighbor bought a car and everybody in the street has been hailing him and you due to the recognition given to your neighbor, you went to get a loan to buy a car, my brother/sister you are living a wasted life.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

Years back when I was in SS1, everyone around me described JAMB as a tough exam. You have to read and read, you must be exceptionally intelligent, you must be this and that ... I held on to this fear and by the time I was in SS3, most of my classmates registered themselves for JAMB but I refused to do the same. Instead, I told my dad I'll like to school in the Benin Republic (I had friends schooling there) and he kind of agreed. I was happy (I felt I have conquered my enemy - JAMB). A few weeks later, my dad called me and told me a story (one of those stories that touch the heart). He said for some reasons best known to him I'll not go to study in Benin.   Challenges are bound to happen when it happens, our response to it determines what we get from it - we either become courageous/stronger or timid/weaker. They tried and failed but they were consistent and they never allowed the crowd to silence them. They continued until they got what they wanted.
