 BE THANKFUL TO GOD

I used to think i had a very big problem until i got to this Special Children's Home in Ogun State.
There i saw a girl that has no eye balls and was lame, a boy and girl of 18 years still wearing diapers all because they are mentally retarded, a man of 33 years still urinating on his body,etc.
It was here i learnt to thank God for my life. No wonder it's been said that "when a child has not seen another person father's farm; he believes his father farm is the biggest".
The year is running to an end. My question now is "what are you grateful to God for?". No matter the situation you are right now- thank HIM because no situation is permanent and guess what the situation might be worse than how it's now. Remember, only grateful people receive more.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

Years back when I was in SS1, everyone around me described JAMB as a tough exam. You have to read and read, you must be exceptionally intelligent, you must be this and that ... I held on to this fear and by the time I was in SS3, most of my classmates registered themselves for JAMB but I refused to do the same. Instead, I told my dad I'll like to school in the Benin Republic (I had friends schooling there) and he kind of agreed. I was happy (I felt I have conquered my enemy - JAMB). A few weeks later, my dad called me and told me a story (one of those stories that touch the heart). He said for some reasons best known to him I'll not go to study in Benin.   Challenges are bound to happen when it happens, our response to it determines what we get from it - we either become courageous/stronger or timid/weaker.
