ARE YOU A NON-ENTITY OR A KNOWN-ENTITY

Let me begin with this quote: 'to be a non-entity is very easy but to be a known-entity is very difficult'. This implies to be useless in life is very easy but to be useful not just to yourself but to your society takes tremendous efforts.

Before I proceed let's carefully study these words - 'non-entity' and 'known-entity'

Non-entity = non + entity
Known-entity = known + entity

* Non - means 'of little significance : unimportant : worthless'
* Entity - means 'being, thing, individual'

Non + Entity = an individual of little significance  (a worthless person)

* Known - means 'generally recognized'
* Entity - means 'being, thing, individual'

Known + Entity = 'an individual who is generally recognized' (a person of great significance).

Now that we know the meaning of both parties, how do you recognize any of them when you come in contact with them?

TRAITS OF A:

(A) NON-ENTITY

1. Keeps wishing, depends on the government/economy.
2. Ignores the quest for knowledge  (information). They feel it's a waste of time and effort.
3. They wait unprepared for opportunities.
4. They are procrastinators (they complain and do next to nothing).
5. They run away from responsibilities.
6. They live carelessly.
7. They are pessimistic and are improvident/myopic.

(B) KNOWN-ENTITY

1. Puts in the hardwork to become successful.
2. Gets information, comprehends it and applies it.
3. They train themselves to see opportunities.
4. They are problem-solvers/ solution-givers.
5. They maximise their time.
6. They take responsibility for their life.
7. They set and pursue their goals.
8. They're optimistic and proactive.

In conclusion, nothing good comes by chance, so pay the price. Take responsibility for your life. Enough of apportioning blames to others. Fight the good fight and become a KNOWN-ENTITY not a NON-ENTITY.
