YOU CAME WITH SOMETHING

People say things like 'we came to this world empty and we will leave this world empty'.

I don't subscribe to this.

The bible says God is omnipotent  (omnipotent means having complete or unlimited power).

The same bible says in HIS own image (in the image of God) created HE him (you).

This means that you are like God (small God) and so, therefore, you've power as HE has.

A lion gives birth to a lion while an elephant to an elephant (A powerful God will only create a powerful man).

God used HIS power (potentials) to solve the problem at the beginning (of creation). HE used it to create what HE wanted.

Before you came to this world, he has seen you and has destined you to do greater work with his power (potentials) in you.

Either you believe it or not, you came to this world with potentials which are hidden in you.

Your duty is to discover it.

Messi and Ronaldo discovered theirs - football, Bill Gate discovered his - created Microsoft, Mark Zuckerberg discovered his - created Facebook, etc.

These are people the world is celebrating because they discovered their potentials.

This is to say you've something, the world is waiting for.
You're unique and don't you ever think since some people are doing what you intend to do, therefore, you wouldn't succeed at it.

Let me tell you something,  the sky is enough for any bird to fly. There's always congestion at the bottom while at the top, there's nothing like that.

Many people can start a race - congestion at the beginning (bottom) and at the end only one person will emerge as the first - no congestion at the end (top).

Many people have come and they are gone but some of them didn't impact their world. They have power (potentials) like you do but they never discovered or used it.

Sir/Ma, don't look down on yourself. You're not a nobody. God knows your name and he wants you to make him proud by utilizing your power to change the world for good.

Remember, you came with something which is your power (potentials).

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

Years back when I was in SS1, everyone around me described JAMB as a tough exam. You have to read and read, you must be exceptionally intelligent, you must be this and that ... I held on to this fear and by the time I was in SS3, most of my classmates registered themselves for JAMB but I refused to do the same. Instead, I told my dad I'll like to school in the Benin Republic (I had friends schooling there) and he kind of agreed. I was happy (I felt I have conquered my enemy - JAMB). A few weeks later, my dad called me and told me a story (one of those stories that touch the heart). He said for some reasons best known to him I'll not go to study in Benin.   Challenges are bound to happen when it happens, our response to it determines what we get from it - we either become courageous/stronger or timid/weaker. They tried and failed but they were consistent and they never allowed the crowd to silence them. They continued until they got what they wanted.
